Rare Matters is a NYC based artisan jewelry brand specializing in pieces that embrace the imperfection of natural beauty. This design brief focused on highlighting the jewelry pieces by utilizing natural shapes that were derived from the jewelry itself.
Strategy
The brand’s difference from other jewelry brands is the juxtaposition of natural irregularity and sophistication, merging the fluidity of nature with the precision of craftsmanship.
The rebrand modernizes Rare Matters’ identity while preserving its artisanal feeling. The goal is to create a visual system that feels elevated yet grounded, reflecting both the raw tactility of jewelry and the timelessness of its background.
